HIVE is an audio-visual smart bed frame.

Right now HIVE is controlled by Alexa, but the plan is to build a fully custom home-assistant system that runs locally — no internet dependency, no reliance on a corporate cloud.

The sound is delivered through two transducer speakers mounted beneath the bed, turning the entire frame into a resonating surface that physically carries the audio through the body.

The lighting consists of programmable LED strips embedded into narrow channels carved into five interlocking hexagons.
